By Car The airport is located on the A2, Sydenham Bypass road between Belfast and Holywood, on the southern shore of Belfast Lough. Those approaching Belfast on the M1 or M2 should follow the signs to Belfast City Airport, leading to the A2 via the M3. Click here for help in planning your journey.

Airport Taxis
Approved taxis operate from the airport taxi rank directly outside the terminal building.
The approximate cost to Belfast city centre is £8.00.

Trains A shuttle bus service operates between the airport termainal and the adjacent rail halt at Sydenham. Translink operates a twice-hourly rail service (0600-2300) Monday-Friday to Central and Victoria Street Stations. The service is hourly on Sundays (0900-2200).
The approximate cost to Central Station is £1.40. Connections are available from Central Station to the rest of the rail network in Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic.
However, the conference organisers recommend you take the bus, which goes more frequently.

Buses The Airport Express 600 operates every 20 minutes from outside the airport to the Belfast Europa Bus Centre adjacent to the Europa Hotel, in the heart of the city. The service, Airport Express 600, operates between 0530 and 2205, and costs £2.00 single and £3.00 return. For futher information and timetable details click here.
No.3 Metrobus operates every 20 minutes from Sydenham train station to City Hall and every 10 minutes between 0900 and 1730. It is a five-minute walk from the airport terminal to the bus stop.
The ‘Airporter’ service operates eleven coaches daily to Belfast City Centre (Waterfront Hall/ Hilton Hotel Belfast) and Londonderry. The Airporter service includes free Wi Fi on board the coaches and tickets can be booked online in advance. Fares start at £2.50 for a single journey.
The Airporter bus stop is located just past the entrance door to the airport. On exiting the airport, turn immediately to your right. There is an Airporter bus stop sign indicating where the bus will depart and arrive from.

To and from Belfast International Airport
Belfast International Airport is situated just 18 miles north-west of Belfast and is easily accessed via the major road and motorway network.
From Belfast: Take the M2 northbound, turn off at Junction 5 and take the A57 for 7 miles until you reach Belfast International Airport.

Buses
Airport Express 300
Airport Express 300 operates a 24 hour service between the airport and Belfast with buses departing every 15 minutes for the majority of the day on weekdays, with reduced frequencies at off peak times and weekends. The bus leaves from the bus stop located opposite the terminal exit.
From the Airport to Belfast: All coaches will travel from Belfast International Airport, stopping at Templepatrick, Royal Avenue, and the Belfast Europa Buscentre.
From Belfast to the Airport: From the Belfast Europa Buscentre stopping at Templepatrick and Belfast International Airport.
Approximate journey time 30-40 minutes subject to traffic conditions.

The Goldline Express Service 200
This Bus Eireann bus service goes every hour/two hours from the coach park in front of Terminal one. The journey takes between 2-2.5 hours.
Fare: Standard Single: £12.15 (14 Euro). Standard Return (valid for one month): £17.40 (20 Euro).
